O.o I didn't realize it was that cheap. I may have to look into that. I really want to find a complete manifold locally so I can save on shipping. That shipping cost can go to something else.

Good luck! If you do end up buying the throttle cable stay from honda, you may want to buy a y8 throttle cable at the same time to save on shipping. the y7 cable is a little long.

My engine builder called. After tons of delays from parts having to be shipped from all over the US, he got everything in and it's DONE. All we have to do is set the valve lash, which will take like 30 minutes or less. I'm picking it up around 8:00 today, as long as everything works out.

Engine has been in my possession for a couple of days. I still need a few odds and ends, but it's ready to be put in. Gotta grab some bolts, an oil pan, a bracket, some gaskets, etc. And why are PCV valves suddenly $12? I thought they were like $2.

I also scored some OEM clips for my bumper from the junk yard. After 3 years, I was finally able to get the front bumper to hang (mostly) right. The corners no longer hang off the fenders.

Yep. I just couldn't a y8 throttle body to go with it, so I'll see if a z6 rotor will work.

ok so you just need a y8 throttle body now. is there a difference between a auto and manual throttle body? iv ebeen keeping an eye out at my junk yard but the only one ive saw was a 99 y8 manual. and that motor was gone the next day.

I need the rotor off the throttle body, that's it. Gotta keep the y7 throttle body so the wiring is plug and play.I think the z6 one is similar enough to work, but I won't have cruise control afterwards.
