Really? Okay then i feel a little better about that price, after everything it'll be a total of about $80. So I'm just gonna get that scheduled for Thursday.

Also, Ive asked Lewis before on how to replace an alternator but could someone post it on here again so that i could maybe check mine out and see if i could find the ***** enough to replace it myself haha

Vac and charge is sooo easy to do. You can rent the vacuum from an Autozone, at least here. HVAC is pretty simple on our cars.

So idk what i was thinking the other way when i said i thought i could do the alternator swap myself BULL **** idk who i was kidding i was gonna do it today after school since i didnt have any homework and i found a used one for like $100 (the guy said it worked really well before he swapped the motor into his daughters car) anyway so i took to the old alternator in the car and couldnt figure out how the f@ck to get the daym thing off? What Lewi had told me to do on his project thread made no sense once i looked at it closely...could any of yall help me?

with my old 99. it was kinda a PITA. i cannt remember exactly how i did it.... the first time i poped the lower balljoint loose and pulled the axle shaft out from the tranny, and then removed the oil filter and droped the alternator out that way. i dont remember if i pulled the axle or not the second time. and its still a tight fit either way. ive heard some people say they pull it out from the top BUT IM CALLING BS since i tried and there was really no way it would have came out that way!
