Default Kenny-g's 98 CX Project (Edited)

CIVIC PROJECT IS NOW DEAD!! - OCT. 9, 2010
My new "direction" for my Truck project is posted on page 25...SO READ IT! - JAN. 9, 2011
Words in red are pointless now so don't bother reading that BS...

So ive decided ima start a project thread on here since ive been finding more and more things to get done on my car as of recently.

She was terrible when i brought her home mainly exterior wise w/ ugly @$$ aftermarket headlights and still has igly tails. Horrible rims and a loud @$$ muffler (like a 3 inch body, high pitch one).

Things done (in order of when they were done):
New "turbo" muffler ($75)
New oem headlights ($70)
New sparkplugs (idr price)
New sparkpulg wires and cap and rotor ($50)
New radiator ($83)
New locking lugs ($30)
Black hx rims i got from a friend ($100, a steal imo)
New tires ($273)
Hx center caps ($35, again a steal)

Things to get done (hopefully within the next year):
Paint center caps (decided not to paint the rims til later on in the project) <--- Done
Debadge/paint the back "H" badge <--- Done
Fix the "new" muffler
New alternator <--- Done
Fix a/c (it barely works...needs to be recharged) <--- Done
New oem/jdm tails
Remove the current tint
New AEM or K&N Intake
Sway bars (upper and lower struts)
Find both bumpers (mine are ****)
Find a front lip
Get an Si grille
New HID kit
Get some yellow fogs
Suspension (1.5 to 2" drop)
Interior mods (integra seats, different cluster, etc)

Wayyy future mods:
Either keep my D16y7 motor and modify the **** outa it and turbo...
...OR...
Save up and find a K20 to drop in it (my ultimate dream btw)
Manual transmission
Disc brakes all around
New paint (the Si blue im thinking...would look BA imo)
Uhm...im sure theres other stuff i wanna do just cant member right now hahaha

Now i dont have a lot of money and ima have to start payin for college soon so dont expect to see somethin checked off my list daily or even weekly...things will get done in due time haha but yah...its a big project and if everything works out i plan on having me one kick @$$ dd/weekend racer

Check out my garage and check in on here every now and then...gonna try to take lotz of pics for yall and btw thanks for lookin at my project thread

the oem si grill shell will not fit the 96-98.... maybe you can find a aftermarket version of it for the 96-98
