And i got a few satickers in the mail today (for free )...just some ClubFrontier.org ones and a random "Filthiest" one. Oh and 2 weird smileys that look beat up (black eyes, missing teath)...idk where to put them O.o i dont think i wanna put them on my truck.

Or maybe start on like the corner of the bumper or something? Sticker bomb a corner of my bumper by days end? Naw that'd look tacky *sigh* idk any ideas?

MY DAMN FOGS STILL ARENT IN!!!!!

I hate UPS he shipped them on freakin tuesday! How are they not here?! Anyway...enough venting now...i hope they get here tomorrow.

Just have to buy the wiring and switches then my roommate's going to bring his dremel tool back here with him this weekend so hopefully i'll be able to install them on sunday

I dont have a camera so no pics BUT i may try to take a decent pic with my phone and email it to myself

 

So im lazy and never put in my fogs :/ been like 2 months and i havent done crap mainly cause of a sh*ty job and so much hw at school :/

I have an idea for my fogs and headlights/tailights so maybe ill get that project done but idk. I want to tint them dark and led the tails and brake lights, then wire the fogs to work in unicen (sp) with the low beams and high beams (one set is bright led's and the others are normal white bulbs).

If i get this all done and worked out it should look prety cool. My only worry is how it'll look with my truck being at its stock, pathetic height. I dont wanna make it a sporty lowered truck but i dont want it to be a rock crawler status so hoping to one day find a happy medium.

Maybe a 3" lift someday or a stock height of the nicer 4 door models idk...im undecided Im kinda woried to mess with it too much since im still making payments on it but i doubt that fogs and tinting the lights would worry anyone too much

Basically, the project is headed towards this;
-Install both sets of fogs and wire them like i said above.
-Tint headlights dark but not too dark.
-Tint tailights and install LED bulbs (brake light too).
-Sometime soon pull the seats out and do a VERY good and thorough cleaning of everything (its nasty ).
-A roof rack sometime down the road (prolly a Yakima one).
-Herculine the bed.
-Get a bed extender.
-Taller tires and possibly get new wheels, im undecided. Might just paint these stock one's gloss black...we'll have to see.
-A short lift hopefully.
-Sticker bomb two or three things (the fering of the roof rack for sure and then maybe the tailgate handle and debating on the grille bar thing that you can see in my sig...its spray painted crappily anyway.

Anyway so thats where im headed as of now we'll have to see how everything works out. Im more undecisive about this truck than i was with my hatch which is very sad lol

 

Alright so this is what im sort of aiming for in regards for my truck now...http://www.clubfrontier.org/forums/f...69/index2.html...post 13. That guys truck is so sweet...its a 4x4 tho so my truck will have to have a lighter front bumper but i dont see that being a problem.

Ive been d!ckin around on the frontier forum and they are super helpful (for the mostpart) and ive learned alot about what i would need to do to get it to that stage maybe a lil less "beefy". My truck is only a 4cyl, 2wd BUT there are guys on there that do some crazy stuff offroad with their rwd trucks so i plan on eventually joining them

Project direction, things to come in the next 7-8 months:

1st priority; PAY OFF THE DAMN THING!
2nd priorities;
-wire up the fogs to work like i mentioned in the previous post
-tint the tails (suuuuper dark) and LED the bulbs
-tint the headlights (prety dark)
-crank the torsion bars to give me a very small lift in the front (2 inches at most)
-paint my plastic moldings (theyre all faded...sadface)
-STICKERS!
3rd priorities (prolly later on down the road...maybe by next summer/fall);
-get slightly bigger tires (31's are the biggest i could go w/o a lift)
-yakima roof rack w/ basket (sticker bomb the fairing)
-side exhaust (it'll be cool trust me)
-rear bumper and rock sliders like that truck in the link
-basic but sturdy front bumper
-either paint my current wheels or buy new ones (i havent decided)

So this is where i will be headed with my truck. It will take a while BUT i am determined to do it because (believe it or not) most of this i can do for free or for a low cost. **most of the 2nd priority stuff is cheap or free** It will be prety sweet i believe and i should enjoy it a lot

*Edit: I forgot to mention a toneau cover too! Thats gonna go under the 3rd priorities list or maybe in the 2nd priorities (just as a more expensive mod) cause i really do need one

 

One of my first steps toward tinting was done today Got rid of the hazy **** on my headlights (I prolly could've tinted w/o doing that but wanted the most visibility out of them as possible). Just have to buy LED's for the tails and tint away

I need to get tie downs first tho so i can put most of my stuff in the bed of my truck w/o having to worry about anything sliding around. But that crap is hella cheap so ima try and get that on friday. Finding the right LED's will be my next project so that'll prolly be about $50 or so (hoping it'll be alot cheaper).

I'm also going to be checking out some stickers from a friends company so that'll be fun too

Hopefully i'll have this project going at a faster pace than the Civic one. I'll admit the only progress that I had on that thing was headlights, wheels, minor (and i mean very minor) interior stuff, and debadging...along with maintenance stuff...so being honest it was barely even a project. Anything would be better than that lol anyway wish me luck for those of you who even give a'damn
