i was gonna get my ecu chipped and tuned by Phearable.net. I've read good things about them, and i sent them a couple questions regarding ECU tuning after i did the head swap. i plan on getting the ecu chipped first and in my car before the head swap. they told me that after i did the head swap that i should take my car to get it dyno tuned with the new head set up.

@CVC: which bisi cam did you have?i noticed there are a couple different ones on bisi.com

People care about rebuilds. Check out addiction2bass's 96 DX rescue project thread. That one got some love.

I'd like to see some pictures of the finished product.

[edit] Just lol'd at the oil cap

People care about build threads. When I first started posting it seemed as if not many people cared. But then... who cares? The build thread is something for you to be able to look back on and see the progress. My first build thread didn't get any love in the beginning. Just wait for the project to build some steam and I am sure people will start to follow it and check in every once in a while to see what is going on.

Also, I got your PM, the cam has been sold at this time. I had the 2.3 nitrous cam for sale. It was my second 2.3 cam from Bisi. The first one was destroyed due to an issue unrelated to the cam itself, but I loved it while it was installed. The second was never run unfortunately.

You are restoring it to factory, and putting a cam in a y8 head? That isn't anything crazy to be honest. Everything has been done with Civics, just keep that in mind. I had a stage 2 crower camshaft / springs/retainers and barely felt any power increase after mild tuning.

restoring it to factory?? are we talking about the front radiator core support here??? if so then yes. and a mild head overhaul, just a little bit more power cam, springs, valves, and port and polish, then ecu. those are my plans prolly wont do too much after that
