Not sure on the mileage. Nothing too high. I think its between 50k-100k miles. Either way its still an awesome deal.

Should be able to put them on the car within the next few days. Horrible weather up here in the northwest is about my only dilemma. Leaning towards the motor first, wheels second option. We'll see how it goes.

Also, I should search but wasn't there a thread topic on getting the top hats off your stock shocks without a compressor? Something to do with unbolting the shock from the control arms and then undoing the nut on top? As long as you were clear of the wheel well for safety... Somethin like that.

Just rent the spring compressor. It's quicker, safer and easier.

True. That's what I've done every other time. Why can't they just give you top hats when you buy new shocks lol.

The OBD1 alternators have the big green plugs like that. The OBD1 dizzy also only has one plug on it instead of 2 like the OBD2 ones.

Go to harbor freight, a spring compressor is like $10 lol. I hate using em, they scare me that they are gonna slip, had one move on me and the spring was arched, scary as hell lol, lot of strength in those. If you want top hats buy some Ground Control extended top hats, better for being slammed and you won't have to deal with your old ones, and they look good. I think there's generic ebay ones too for like $60, idk how good they are though.

The extended top hats only allow more shock travel so I would rather spend that much on more important things that I need right now lol. Good idea though. I haven't had a problem with compressors and I have used them four or five times. Should be doing that tomorrow

Rented the compressor and got it done today. Things went smoothly as I took my time. By far the best setup I've ever had. Well worth the money IMO even though the springs need time to settle. Have the stiffness set at 3, stiff enough to handle well but not too harsh for dd. It's got about half an inch left on the adjustment setting all the way around.

Looks good! Those springs are tall for coilovers, my Ground Control springs are like half that lol. How's the stiffness of the Skunk2's? They have pretty high spring rates.

The high spring rates was one of the main reasons I got them. I love slamming my cars so I wanted springs stiff enough to keep my shocks from bottoming out like previous setups. This setup handles potholes and things like that surprisingly well. I still should play around with the stiffness settings to find the one I'm most comfortable with.
