I havent got much done lately because I am in the process of switching jobs, but I did get the ES rear motor mount inserts installed (Thanks Stu). For those of you who dont know how these work, here you go. It wasn't too hard, unbolting the mount and t-bracket was easy.

Here is a picture of the mount

Pressing the inserts in was easy as well.

The hardest part was making sure all the bolts from the tranny to the t-bracket and mount to the t-bracket all lined up perfectly. I could do it in about half the time now that I know what it takes through trial and error.

As far as the cabin noise/vibration, I dont notice much of a difference since a lot of stuff rattles in my car to begin with. The biggest difference is either that you feel the motor as you drive and idle or the fact that my motor moves a fraction as much as it did when I rev it from the outside and watch.

Nice nice. I bet you're enjoying hearing all the new rattling noises because of the solid mounts.

Any word on that interior harness?

I talked to him today and without telling me he sold the car and motor together with the dash and stuff all at once. I was intending on getting it but I had no idea that those were his plans. Sorry about that, although I will keep my eye out for one locally.

Update: Randomly both my foglight bulbs stopped working. Went to O'reilly and picked up new bulbs. Nothing special but they provide like three times the illumination. I highly recommend people upgrade the cheap bulbs that come with the ebay foglight kits.

When I'm up to it I plan on painting the trim and side skirts black finally. I wont do much until after Christmas when the weather straightens out but I need to get a new bumper as well.

Long term plans include lowering the car after the holidays and start looking for a z6 to build for all motor. Including high compression pistons, head work, cam, matching valve train components with plenty of arp products. I don't have a full plan set out yet but paying for college is the only thing holding all this back. So it will all come slowly until the summer.

Woo all motor z6 build.

Looks good. How much compression are you going to run and how aggressive of a cam? any thoughts on brand yet?

Also if you don't mind loosing your A/C consider looking into a bisimoto header for your z6 build.
