MaximusFunk's 00 EX project
^^NICE about the LEDs and I always love SI wheels.
Btw, you need a tapered to ball seat washer. They are like a $3 for a set of 4 on a few random websites and allow you to run "tuner" lugs on our OEM Honda wheels without having any issues.

thanks for the tip on the washers, i already bought the lugnut set with the locks though, so i'll just put the nuts up on craigslist.
got my LED lights. 2 dollars shipped from china :P Im happy with them, not extremely bright, but much better than stock and wont catch the popo's eye.

also got my red steering wheel emblem too, im very pleased with it. on my old car, I cut the emblem of a 7th gen coupe leather wheel in the junk yard, masked it off and painted it myself. took way more work and came out much less clean looking.

did my bondo filling today. I decided to go with bondo professional gold, because i cant afford to spend 200 to get new metal welded on the quarterpanel, and that was a friend's quote to me. I needed to bondo the bumper hole from the christmas tree that hit me anyway.
I didnt think about taking pictures till i was done, but i drew some lines to show what was missing. the grey stuff is all sanded Rust Bullet. It was pretty tricky to make an angled edge with bondo at the bottom, but all in all im happy with the outcome and if it lasts 3 years ill be extremely pleased. tomorrow I will paint. there are a lot of other spots that needed sanding and paint, but no bondo.

I finished the rust repair, but never got to take pics. I got a spun rod bearing so I sold the old parts car and this car for 1000. I bought a 93 accord EX (f22a6) with 140k for 1500. It needs a new door lock, rear window motor, glove compartment handle, the gas gauge is stuck at full, and it has the same rusty quarterpanels that my last car had.
It runs and shifts great however and has a much bigger oem sunroof. the A6 is supposed to have 140hp/142torque with 22/28mpg automatic. Im very dissapointed that I cant put my SI wheels on it, but other than that im pretty happy. Its nice experiencing some torque.

Thus ends my short lived project thread.

prolly I will just try and clean up the exterior, interior and wheels, tune up, and throw my short ram on there. I have to say, after having it one day, I already like it better than my civic. Its more comfortable and spacious, rides smoother, more torque, bigger sunroof. I really miss my wheels though. and I havnt had to think about the gas yet.
I will post up some better pics soon. the craigslist pic makes it look like an old buick

snapped some pics today.

So far, have fixed door lock, temp gauge, rear motor mount, glove box latch, 3x3 atf change, full tune up, got some 5500k super white low beams, installed my old head unit, put on my tires, fixed a PITA power steering leak. drives perfect, still need to fix the rear window motor and eventually new rear shocks. I waxed it last week, the paint is surprisingly nice for a black car with 19 years on it. except for the spots with bondo.
