MBrent's fix the CRiX project
sticker bomb 2 came in today!!! just gotta figure out what to bomb. im thinking maybe my rear speaker grills. the fabric came off leaving yucky old yellow glue. gonna sand em down and do it tonight. wish me luck, before and after pics to come soon!!!
so, after trying the expensive assed glue remover i bought (fail, btw), i wet sanded a speaker grill really quickly in my kitchen sink lol. it turned out better than expected. look at the side by side pics. pretty good, huh? bout to bomb one. got an exacto knife to cut stuff out with, and make it nice and neat.
first off, if u plan on bombing something, do something small and flat that u hate or can throw away first. guaranteed, it will look like ****. after some practice, trial and error, and sticky fingers, u too can get this stupid trendy look like i did! yay bandwagon! i like it tho, breaks up the blech-ness of the interior. started cutting out the holes for the first grill, and it looked flippin awful. went back and covered it up. just gonna have to crank on the potentiometer a bit more to hear my metal. anywho, i missed the damn UPS truck while i was job hunting today, so the beastards (lol beastards) kept my dampers. poot... btw, the jpeg titled done2 is the second effort, and i like it the best.

^ First off, i hate you right now cause u got your sticker bombing done and it looks AWESOME and i still dont have jack ish to bomb
I love that look though! Its cool and out of the ordinary. Plus thats a different location for it lol
You should do one or two things in the front of the interior to balance the front and back out. Then either stop or do one exterior thing (a lip ???). You don't want to go overboard with this haha

will one fit mitch? and thx kenny, it was time intensive. couldnt just slap em on and be done. i took the speaker grills back out and touched up the edges, made sure all stickers were lying down, and then spray bomb cleared the **** out of them. i am pleased with the look now. like its one big vinyl covering instead of some ghetto assed stickers. hopefully i will lay hands on my dampers today. idk when i will have the time (or motivation for that matter) to put them and the master cylinder on. got a pair of kenwood 12's, but im only gonna use one. i dont listen to rap or r&b, just metal and classic rock. hate that boomy noise that all the high school kids have. anywho, stay tuned. u never know what i will do next...
Hey wanna make a fun trip down to tejas and give your good ole pal Kenny the sub you arent gonna use?
Haha im such a cheap ***
