Tranny goes in Thursday! Got it scheduled and can't wait. My clutch is slipping like crazy lol.

And yeah, I searched ebay first. The OEM ones are hard to find on there, just a bunch of body kit type skirts. The only ones I found were around 60-90 bucks for the pair. I only need the drivers side so I hate to pay that for two. I know a Civic will pop up in pull-a-part soon.

Thanks to the half-assed job of the previous owner, I won't have my car back until Monday. The shop said everything that can go wrong with the trans swap has gone wrong. Bolts breaking and stripping, bolts that were incorrectly used, and such. The flywheel will be out of spec if resurfaced, so they overnighted a new one. Lots of re-tapping and extra work going into the car for very little extra charge. Its nice to have a local performance shop that really knows Honda's and their swaps.

Yeah, Roberts Imports is a really good place. They do dyno tuning, custom turbo builds, motor builds, swaps, and pretty much anything relating to mods. They make their own manifolds and IC piping.

Got my car back today! It drives SOOOO much better. No more wheel hop, smooth buttery shifts, shorter shifts, much better acceleration, and much better clutch feel now that its a hydro. Clutch has a 200 mile break in period so I have to resist the urge to go fast lol. They fixed way more than I expected and didn't charge near what they had in the car. Labor alone should have been over $1000 hourly, but I paid half that even after them adding in OEM bolts, new flywheel, and shifter bushings. Ill get better pics once its light out, these are in a dark garage. Hard to photograph a transmission haha.
