Not a huge fan of the Nitrous... I'm still kind of holding out for 10th Anniversary Cobra wheels; I'm expecting to buy a set in 2010, but we'll see where I am financially.

Anyway, I tinted the projectors today. Before the comments start, they're plenty bright (8000k HIDs), and they're not completely blacked out. Also, I plan on getting some OEM fogs sometime (probably when I get my tax returns), so that'll help with night driving. Anyway, here's the pics:

Yeah, I definitely like the projectors better now that they're smoked. Usually, I just wipe the snow off the headlights and let the lights melt the ice; the low beams being HIDs, the lenses get warm enough to take car of any ice that might accumulate.

Right now, I'm just worried about exactly how bright they're going to be at night, but I guess I'll find out tonight lol. Worst case scenario is they're dim as h**l and I throw my OEM headlights back on until I can get my hands on a set of fog lights.

*edit: I'm thinking I'm going to go with flat black for my wheels; the swaybars will still be bronze, but I'm thinking the stock wheels will probably look better in flat black.

Here's a quick chop I did:

They actually look like flat black Rota Slips

*edit #2: Okay, well I'll know for sure in an hour or so, but at this point it's looking like nighttime visibility shouldn't be much of a problem:

*edit #3: Well, the visibility at night has been confirmed; there's literally almost no change in light output... and she looks sexy as h**l at night:

Thanks... personally, I think it's a huge improvement over the plain projectors. To be honest, I hated how the things looked, but I wanted them for the HIDs.

Anyway, I went on a nighttime photoshoot today (errr, tonight). Here's my favorite pics from it:

Nice effort on the tint. I give them a solid 7.5 out of 10.

j/k, looks GOOD. The only thing messing up your clean look is that ford emblem on the back. The Mustang letters can stay, but toss the oval. Everyone knows its a Ford. And OEM fogs would add so much.

There's two holes where the oval mounts up or else the badge would be gone. Maybe when I get some time over a weekend I'll take the trunk lid completely off and re-do it (shaving the badge holes), but until then the badge is staying. And yeah, fogs are on my "to do" list

Reaper, you may have your heart set on black rims but...I am not feeling it. I also was not feeling the gold either.

Your rims are silver now, what if you went for a gunmetal? It woudl not be as a big a contrast and may flow better.

Just my $0.02.

Otherwise its coming along nicely. Great pics.

I don't know about gunmetal; I think it'd kind of throw off the red/black thing I have going... maybe like a steel gray though, I'll do a quick chop and see how it looks... I'll post the chop up in a bit.

*edit:

Not too bad... I kind of like it; at least they won't look like steelies from more than 10' away lol
