Reaper's Mustang Project (abridged version)
Except it's fact that josh's y8 produces 128hp/105ft*lbs at the crank. It's hearsay that fords don't last. Why don't you go on 3.8mustang or mustangforum and see how many members have mustangs with 100k, 150k, or 200k+ miles on the clock. It's like a civic... it's all in maintenance. If you maintain a civic, it's not going to last, "indestructable" stereotype or not.
Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sure he has a freak d16 with 200whp and 300ht*lbs of torque, right? With wear and tear the factory number of (I was actually wrong with my first estimate) 127bhp isn't exactly going to go up.

Again, it's fact that the y8 makes 127bhp from the factory. Saying that a ford won't hit 100k is an opinion. Stu, are you having as much fun with this argument as I am?
*edit: I'll even concede to you the fact that there's slight room for error in the power number from the factory. I'd give it +/-1hp. So now he's at 126-128bhp. Figure in the 15% (and that's a best-case scenario), he's putting down 108.8whp, and that's using the higher number of 128bhp. My CBR put down ~93hp to the rear wheel with less than half the displacement. 109whp is nothing.

I didn't say it would go up, I am saying it's probably not at 127bhp. And, doesn't have have exhaust or intake or something? That would probably bump up his bhp a little bit.
Yes, I am having fun.
