I'll be honest, if a sol's done up right, they look sick. Unfortunately, most people fail pretty hard at it... I still like my idea of a 5th gen coupe front end swap

did you have your rear end redone? j/w i cannt remember if you did or not have something changed on it.

i just got a g80 limited slip for my trucks rear end and im trying to estimate how much a typical shop will charge to install the setup in my rear end if i carry it in with the parts... im just tired of the one wheel burn out and i really hate the one wheel spin in the snow... and yes i know its almost spring.LOL but its a good excuse for my dad if he gives me any crap about the upgrade.

yeah, I had a 3.73 and posi put in, it was $225 for the install... usually differential work is between $200 and $300.

ok well thats not to bad... i was thinking about swaping my rear end to the G80 locking dif... and since i found one on a truck at the local pullapart that just came in a snatched it up. but now ive decided to go ahead and grab the rest of the rear end and bolt it back in and rock the whole axle swap. ill just have to try and setup the right spacer on the right side... at least there was only 2 spacers so a simply trial and error and it should go back together smoothly. i guess this way ill have a backup axle for my truck.
im not looking for a huge performance increase.... mainly just something to help ALOT with driving in the snow because that one wheel spinning sucks!

Yeah, posi is always better than an open differential lol... personally, I'm most likely swapping in a Cobra independent rear suspension, which means swapping my 7.5" rear end for an 8.8" anyway... I'll probably get a better LSD than the FRPP (ford racing performance parts) one I have now (I can't see mine holding up to even the most gentle driving with 600rwhp lol).

Anyway, L4te Night Kr3w vinyls finally came in today

Nothing like ricing out a mustang

*edit: my longtubes, cats, and vortex generators have all shipped... the VGs and longtubes will (hopefully) be on the car this weekend, cats... probably not. I need to find someone with a welding torch before I can throw those on. Also, I'll probably order shocks/struts next week so they'll be here the following week; I'll throw those on and cut the springs until I have the extra money to throw at the H&R's. Also, next week I'll be ordering a few stickers... "Corvettes are for senior citizens", "I </3 speedbumps" are two I have my eye on, and if I can find a decent "No fat chicks... car will scrape" sticker, I'll get it... unfortunately, shockerstickers doesn't make the one I wanted anymore =[

About what? The car club vinyl? Or me cutting my springs the right way? I'll give you two hints as to how I'm doing it... 1) I'm not using any form of heat to cut them 2) I'm not trying to lower my car 3". Trust me, I do my homework before diving into something, unlike some people... 1 full coil is the most you can cut on a mustang's OEM springs without sacrificing ride quality; it translates to between a 1.5" and 2" drop, and raises the spring rate slightly higher than stock.

Anyway, now that I'm done informing the masses (because apparently I don't know what the h**l I'm doing with cars), here's today's work:

The mustang, minus the side stripes... a little cleaner look :

And I started my rear window vinyl collection off with a classic... the shocker (my friend had a couple sitting around and gave me one for free so I figured why not?):
