Scott's Ek Build: Shaved and Tucked
O ya and for your exhaust problem, i had/have the same problem, mine doesnt rattle on anything but when you look at the tip you can see its pushed over to the side. It only did this after i put on my header so its prolly the same thing with yours.
Yea it has to be for me, it is the only thing of the exhaust I touched when I put the shorty in. I have the Evo2, which is pretty huge. The muffler is giant, mine has a flat spot on it haha, and the res is just huge. The resonator has a little flat spot on the bottom and has deeeeeep scratches all the way down it haha, I love seeing my $500 exhaust get beat up. But the res is straight up against the body. When I drove my car last night, my idle slammed down to like 200 (I messed with the idle screw, should be good), and the thing was rattling soooo loud.
Alright I should be hopefully be getting the Rota's the end of this week. The kid says I have first dibs and that he is geting steelies in 4-5 days. $450 with like 80% tread and what he says has no curb rash, just little scratches. I'll probably paint them anyway.
Also this week I should hopefully be getting a call from Acura saying I have a job, they were going to try to make a position on the lube rack for me, so I've got my fingers crossed.
I finished my headlights, turned out good. The lens' just need to be wet sanded, they are a lil foggy. While I had everything off the frolnt end, I used up the rest of the color matched spray paint I had. I resprayed my grill and the front piece across the bay.
All the holes on the engine bay are really annoying me. HOPEFULLY I will be shaving the bay next month and painting it gold. I'm going to order 2 more cans of green paint for the time being to repait my shock towers and the frame rail like things in the bay, they look terrible.
Last, my exhaust is still rattling bad. I redid the header bolts and made sure that the cat was on straight. So at this point I am clueless as to what is causing my exhaust to sit over to the side. All the rubber hangers are on. Any ideas?
Here's some pics.
I'm thinking of making a carbon fiber block off plate for the cup holers. They suck and everything tips over in them with how I drive and the lid doesn't stay closed. I put all my cups in the center console anyway.

Headlights:
Primed (I'll post it again I guess)

Painted:

Lens on:

Engine bay piece thingy:
Before (note nasty spots around holes and what not)

Everything taped off:

Primered:

Painted:

Took the hood latch off. Soaked it in Simple Green. You have no idea how much I miss having access to a sand blaster and parts cleaner any time I want, this would've cleaned up 100x better. But it looked better than before:

Quick snap of the front end:

The thing I painted isn't perfect at all, I had enough paint to do one full coat and that's about it. So it will be redone, and prepped and sanded right.

Your car's coming along
i have the same shifter/ES bushings, 100x better than stock
Btw, want to sell the Skunk2 shift **** to me?
The Lights look fantastic also. Very nice job.
And you're right, the cup holders SUCK. Only thing I put in them is change and screws.

I LOVE the feel of the b&m, it is magical. No slop, just feels right.
The Skunk2 **** is going 1 of 2 places.
1. My sisters Civ
2. My friends ranger. If any of you have driven pretty much any stick truck you know how ridiculously long the shifter is. So as a joke my friend and I want to buy another shifter from the jy for his truck, cut it in half, and thread it for a makeshift short shifter.
