Woo looks like I found me some rimsssssss. Not sure if they are Rota or Drags, but they are mf10 knock offs. MY FAVORITE! They are 15s, silver, he says pretty clean and not noticeable curb rash, and 85% left on Falkens. I'll probably paint them gold though. He said my steelies and $400. I can probably just give him $350. Hopefully this goes through, cause I LOVE these rims and am sick of the weak sauce steelies.

Also, my dad and I may be picking up a new project! Getting it off one of his friends. It is an 86 Vette frame and motor, auto, with a '66 gt40 shell. Needs a LOT of fiber glass repair. Runs, most of the wiring is done. Just needs all custom made interior since nothing is there. He has all the parts for it though, Vette rims, headlights/tail lights, glass. All for the price of low $2000s.

I hate craigslist. I was going to buy the rims off this kid tomorrow. He was his hatch but I asked him if he would sell the rims off it. And now when I was set on buying em he tells me his dad won't let him take the rims off the car. WOW.

Heh if I were to ever sell my car it will be going back to stock. Worth so much more in the parts off of it lol.

Most likely selling the carbon fiber trunk. Guy wants me to hold it til Friday which means I'm making him pay all $400. Oem trunk will go back on, and I'll start hunting for an si spoiler. Then it is off to the body shop for paint.

Got the "okay" to throw my headlights in the oven, so this week they will be popped open for paint. Here's my plans for this week:

- Finish carbon fiber (just needs to be sanded tomorrow and cleared and it is DONE)
-Throw another washer in rear suspension, negative is pretty bad since I lowered it more
- B&M shorty, comes Wednesday
- ES shift linkage bushings at the same time
- Pull my stupid *** axle again, take out the axle seal and throw a lot of rtv/honda bond around it, piece of **** is still leaking
- And black out the headlights

I don't know what else I'm going to do yet. Thinking about pulling the dash still and doin engine harness...

My car is idling REALLY low sometimes and it is driving me crazy. It drops the the dash right before where the needle sits when it is off. The whole car just vibrates cause it is such low rpm. I cleaned my IACV yesterday, what else should I do? I think I'm just going to pull the iacv again and just empty a can of carb cleaner in it.

Alright, B&M shorty came today. Install went pretty smooth, no major problems. Feels realllllllly good. New ES bushing sin the linkage so it is nice and tight, just the way I like it. It is going to take a little getting used to going from single to dual, always feel like it is in neutral when it is 2/4 just from where the placement of the shifter **** is. Sits really low too, just what I wanted. I pulled the axle again and put RTV around the axle seal, hopefully this will fix my leak once and for all! Tomorrow I'm cracking my headlights open and painting them black, hopefully finishing my carbon fiber (I'm ridiculously lazy), and MAYBE put another washer in the rear, but I doubt it cause I'm lazy. I'll snap some pics of the shorty tomorrow as well as the headlights.

I took my IACV completely out today and reallly cleaned it out. Took my car for a drive, idle is soooooooooo low. It is literaly at 0, I don't know how it is staying alive ha. Everything was shaking, even my midpipe on my exhaust with all the hangers on, I thought I forgot to put it on by the resonator it was shaknig so bad. So tomorrow I'm going to mess with the idle adjustment screw and straighten this annoying thing out finaly.

Toodles.

I love the b&m, feels so amazing. And yes I use the stock ****, I LOVE the way they feel. My Skunk2 **** makes a nice $50 paper weight. Today I opened up the headlights, I've got them primed, just need to paint them tomorrow morning. I THINK the leaking tranny is solved. I did really investigate hardcore, but looks to be okay. No progress on the carbon fiber haha. I was messing with my can of paint matched spray paint and I think I got it to where it can match. It used to come out really drippy and chunky, so I put a different nozzle on and it works better. Tested it out on the bumper and the crash beam, pretty close color. I'm thinking about buying a quart of paint and having my friend's dad help my spray my bumpers and stuff. I'll see how much the body shop quotes me.

Here's my next problem! My exhaust is really fricken wierd. The whole res back is sitting like 1 inch to the passenger side, to the point where the resonator is up against the metal body part that fits around it. Whenever my car idles, since the exhaust is out of place, it rattles really loud against the body. My ONLY guess is that when I put the cat and the header back together, that the cat isn't straight with the header and they exhaust is over. Figure the further away from the smallangle, the more the effect is multiplied. SoiI'll have to pull the header bolts and hope it straightens out. At least I couldn't hear my exhaust leak with the header bolts as tight as they were though, so that WAS fixed.

Also something reallllllly wierd. When I started my car before, the speedo would jump to like 20-30 mph then drop right away, did it a few times at a random speed. I disconnected the IACV plug, started it, still did it. So I took the neg off, let it sit, still did it. Started my car few hours later and it isn't. I don't know what was going on...
