Alright I got some pics of the tail lights. They are pretty clean except for one spot that I took a pic of. These are straight off an si, not ebay. I should be picking up some hubbies this week and mud flaps tomorrow.



Here's the broken piece. Once my sister sells her ek in a few monthes I'm just going to swap out the tail light.

Eh not a priority lol. I'd rather put money in to a motor. It'll probably get done this winter though when I've got a truck. Maybe the spoiler will motivate me to get it painted, who knows. I kinda want to get the whole car painted though, maybe a Maaco job yo.

Well I haven't done anything to my car at all. I don't know why lately but I haven't had much motivation to do just about anything in general. Been working a lot between the dealer and the restaurant. As of right now I think I am going to try to sell my car. I'm getting bored with it and want something different. I took my cf trunk off today so hopefully I can sell that off soon. If I sell my car I'm think I'm going to get a da, well hope so. I was thinking about like a 240, but I don't know **** about em. So if it sells I'll stick with Hondas, just want something differnt to work with. Something I won't have emissions with. So we'll see what happens. Maybe a differnt car will spark some interest in doing stuff again.

And my parents are going to put up a big chunk of cash for me for a winter truck since they want something very reliable, so I might be getting a crv.

 

I hear ya on that scott. I haven't done much to the car either and I am starting to find myself wanting this project to end due to B.S. issues continually coming up. Dreaming about WRXs recently too, but I know I wouldn't be able to afford one right now.

Hell, at least you can sell your car and not have to worry about someone saying "and why isn't the front end painted yet?" haha

 

Well you could always get an S2000 or a New Si, but of course those both are hard to find under $16,000

 

All I have cosmetically wrong with the car is the black front and back bumpers, and I don't give a fk how it looks lol, all the mechanics at Acura say I'm a ricer cause I've got stickers and two tone green and black lol.

You have no idea what I'd do for an s2k lol, but I am 18. I make good money between the dealer and being a waiter but when I'm in school I'll only be working weekends, but for the 2 monthes where I'm full time at the dealer I'll make some good money. So as of now I don't plan on upgrading, I'm going to go down to something worth less. The money difference will either go to 1. Tools 2. Making the next car fast. I think my main problem with this car is it is slow and boring, and with having to do emissions it makes everything expensive and/or annoying. So what I'm thinking right now is sell my Civ, get a da. Build a high comp bottom, and go lsv. Make some good n/a power, maybe just go itr internal head? I want to get something before winter hits so that I can work on whatever I get all winter, aka tuck everything and what not. My other big thing right now is I need tools. Since I'm going to be a mechanic obv there's a lot I need, I have just about everything I'll need, besides specialty stuff. But I need to upgrade my stuff. I have mostly Craftsman stuff that I want to get Snap On/Matco/Mac stuff to replace them with. We'll see what happens, my cars on craigs right now but I have it for what I wish I could get for it, no way I'll get what I want. Losing so much fking money on this car it sucks. One of the biggest things I regret in my life is buying this damn car from a dealer cause I was impatient. Lesson learned.

Oh and I am gonna keep my eyes out for a 240. I don't know much about their engines and **** but I know exactly what I'm doing exterior. Car will be like a gunmetal or grey, SLAMMED on some old school wide *** rims. Lime green rims with a fat *** lip, mmmm sooo sexy. Silvia front end right away too haha.

 

Alright I haven't done much lately. New axle seals and just maitenance stuff really. I've had some pretty bad luck with craigs lately, was going to buy an entire swap from aa 99 'lude for $800, I'm talkin harness ecu axles, stuff I don't even need. Texted the guy the day before telling him I might take it, told him the next day I'd pick it up and he sold it on me... and what's stupid is he contacted me to sell it. But I'm thinking I'm going to keep my car and new plansssssssss.

-My Mugen knock off strut bar I just ordered is on it's way, looks so much better than the cheap *** ebay ones.
-My parents are buying a CRV for me to use for winter to drive to school soOoOo that means Civic is being parked forrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
-Engine bay shaveeeee. Full tuck, shave, painted high gloss gold. Naice.

-Looking to start building something, and that something is an lsv. Nothing super aggresively built, just somethin that'll get my car moving haha. So I'm going to start looking for an ls block and stuff.

I start school in 3 weeks, aka I won't be working much and I won't be getting a ton of money. School is Mon-Fri 8-5 with an hour drive each way. Boo.
