well got some more bad news about the tires. well its not that bad of news, just not what I was hoping to hear. Basically nobody has them anywhere near my area, so they are having to order them in from Tennessee (I'm in Arlington, TX). So now instead of getting them on today or tomorrow, the tires won't be in till Friday, which means I won't have time to get it done till Saturday.

I though about getting some different tires from Discount or NTB or something, but even then they didn't have any of the other tires I would be willing to get in stock. So it would be thursday before I could get anything on, plus it wouldn't be as good of a deal as what I'm getting at Firestone.

So at that point I just decided that it would be best to just wait till Saturday. Oh well I'll get them on eventually. Till then I have to stare at them sitting in the corner of my room.

alright so I decided with all thats going on with the wheels, I had to get somethin done with the car today. So I decided to paint the SI grille that has been sitting around the house for the last couple of months. I bought it off of Addiction a while back when he was selling it. I had to order the paint since no stores carry Taffetta white in the spray can. Ticks me off, but whatever, what are you gonna do?

This is by no means a permanent paint job. This is just temporary till summer until I can get a new bumper and the fogs, then I will get it repainted the right way.

It looks like it will be ok, its a bit rough but its good enough for now. heres some pics of paintin it. I'm going to give it a couple of days, then wax and get it on the car hopefully saturday.

freshly wet sanded. you can see some of the electron blue paint near the bottom that was under addictions black paint

Can you spot the grille? I'm gonna leave it up here till its dry to avoid any dirt or dog hair getting stuck in the clear

We've gotta find you a front bumper that wasn't run over. But nice change on the grille. All our cars look the same lol.

Those rims look great! They really pop in combination with the white paint.

well if it ever stops being cloudy and/or rainy I'll clean my car and get some good pictures up, but there's no telling when that's going to be because there is a lot of clouds and rain in the forecast.

other than that, not much will be done to the car for at least a couple of weeks till I get paid and make my credit card payment
