hey Sov i see ur going with vitara pistons. any specific reason why u went with those and not cp's orje's? just wonderin' if there's any difference in quality between the three.
Price. Forged internals are stronger, but Vitaras should be all he needs for the power he's wanting.

so vitara's arenot forged. i figured they were. how much horsepower can they support?why are they alot cheaper than je and cp? is it all about how much power they can support/handle?

Sorry about all the questions but i am going to be gettingpistons, rods, etc. this summer and want to do my homework before buying anythingThanks

Skrappy, if you have a Bseries engine you can't use Vitara's, they're only made for Dseries.

But Vitara's are a mere step under forged, they have a high temp coating on them, they have a deep dish which helps with the combustion, they have much larger ringlands than most forged pistons, and best of all, they're cheap! They have supported upwards 420whp and can easily support more.

My dad doesn't own an engine shop, he's a mechanic at a Honda dealer lol. He knows anything and everything about stock cars, but when it comes to the aftermarket world he's at a complete loss. He helps me with the mechanics, but I have to do all the research and buy my own parts... he's asks questions about turbo's like you guys do. [8D]

they arnt stock replacements, they are actually low compression pistons, in the case of d16z6 it brings it down from 9.x to about 8.5
