So those of you who are members of the char know that I've wanted to do this for a while... and in February I acquired a 1994 Dodge Caravan 5-speed. Most of you have never seen a 5-speed caravan in your life, but don't worry, they do exist.



The plans for the car are the 2.5 Chrysler turbo, coupled to the 5-speed. Top mount intercooler, functional hood scoop, lowered about 4-5 inches and some nice wheels. If I can get them I will use SRT8 seats in the front.

It will be megasquirted and will not run the stock tiny TE04, but instead something much bigger... think Holset. 3.5" exhaust, tons of weight loss, and other things that will come to my sick mind later on.

 

You'll be the ultimate kickass soccer mom when it's finished.

very nice! someone around here has a turbo mini van, and from what i hear, its smoking just about everything around lol. cant wait to see the progress.

Holy ****, my dad one that looked just like that but white, 5 speed and everything.

If I remember correctly the alternator belt slipped off every single time it rained, just a possible heads up.

 

Yeah, the alternator's mating surface to the bracket was usually machined in an inconsistent way. Washers fix that easy.
