It used to. I did the washer trick. Take off your sunvisors and a-pillars to get to these. If you look closely, you can see there's a washer in between the bracket and the body. Do that where each bolt is. Use the same thickness washer for each bolt. Do this to both of the front roof lock catches, and there's also 2 in the rear that are similar. I believe they have 2 bolts a piece.

Turned my power steering into manual steering earlier today by bypassing the pump and then removing it and the p/s pump bracket. Instead of the high pressure line going from the rack to the pump to the reservoir, now it goes from the rack to the reservoir.
Used a hacksaw to cut the high pressure line and the pump-to-reservoir hose and then all I had to do was use some brass fittings and some fuel line hose to connect the two together. This way I didn't have to tamper with any of the rest of the hoses, and was able to keep the reservoir in the same place (reservoir is necessary to let air out of the system) and it looks basically factory besides the hose clamps. Now i've freed up a lot of room in the front-right of the bay.
The steering wheel is only harder to turn while not moving or while barely moving, but is just as easy while driving, just with better feel for the road. I enjoy it.

Damn, that sucks. Good thing there's only like one place to parallel park where I live and it's easier to just park in the parking lot behind the building instead. lol
It's pretty hard to parallel park on US1, there's always cars coming.
