Sorry to hear about the finances, but hey, it's called responsibility. Do what you have to do. The car will always be there (unless you sell it), take some time off and get your bills straightened out. I had to sell all of my turbo parts around this time last year and it does suck.

Yea I plan on keeping the car. I've put so much into it that to sell it would be a huge loss so I might as well just keep driving it. Might as well just drive it until I graduate and eventually have a good job with decent income, then maybe i'll buy a new Civic Si or something and leave it stock... that's when the Sol will hit the garage and i'll work on it on the side.

Need a new IACV. Idle drops when A/C is engaged, sometimes causing the engine to die. Also drops when using the power windows. When the engine is under load, the IACV is supposed to raise the idle.

Factory service manual says that either the IACV is bad or the ECU isn't receiving signal from the A/C system. So I cleaned the IACV to no avail. I talked to Phearable and they told me that the A/C engine load settings are set to stock on my ECU I bought from them. RonJ had me test the IACV wiring and the test shows that the wiring is fine.

Looks like i'll be dropping $170 on an IACV.

Got new tint today. legal limit... 28% front sides, 15% rear window. I didn't get a windshield strip... I am too tall and it cuts off my view.

pics soon, it's too dark outside right now.

Probably going to get my OEM spoiler painted next week and then change the oil sometime, and then i'll be moving to Tampa.

I'll try and see if I can find a transmission shop or somewhere that will do my transmission work sometime after moving there. Probably won't be right away though.

Just wondering... is anyone following this thread anymore now that the turbo project is dead?

check-in if you're still here. lol

I read what's going on whenever the threads show up as bolded text. I usually only visit the project section and the lounge when hanging out here.
