Turtlegrip 1997 Civic DX
Well I put the cleaner one I had in and when I slam the brakes there is no nose dive and I can hear/feel the fronts slip a little before the back so I guess the prop is 40/40. I dont exactly know what would happen if it wasnt though.
Brakes could either lock up instant you touch them, or they would be weak feeling. I might be interested in that other prop valve actually. I don't see why a "40/40" from a 99-00 Civic SI with rear disc (no ABS) would not work on a teg with rear discs and no ABS.
Ive read a bit of conflicting information on this. That you need SI 99-00 OR that they are all the same on all civics. Either way the one I put in works and I never tried with my stock prop valve. I can send you some pics of the one I have, or ship it to you pretty much for shipping (I wont be using it). Note I am using a 00 ITR MC so the lines should match up fine I think (same chassis?)...
I heard the same thing with the 96-00 civic prop valves. If you say Honda can tell me, I might make a visit to the local dealership and see what they say
1" MC? If so, I have the same
Shoot me a PM with a price shipped to 19382.
