Got the new wheels on. Handles a lot better but I wish I had picked summer tires instead of all season. 205-50 instead of 195-60, makes a big difference

I've got nearly everything to install power locks and the command start portion of my alarm. Wiring is getting complicated, but, found an awesome site to help via suspendedhatch at eg civic. Stealth install. Yeah!

Alarm and command start are installed. Gonna be a warm winter.

I've acquired a real job and am now thinking of the future of this car. With the body damage, it seems only logical that it be my winter car, and that I search for a good shape Honda as a real summer project or buy a new car...

As far as further mods to this car, maybe just power windows locks and mirrors. Rear disks. Big brakes. We'll see how I feel about Ms.Civic in the spring.

Its crazy how yall gotta put cars away in the winter >_> ive lived in So-Cal my whole life...

cant wait to see what you do with it once its back though!

I might get some strapping and change the location. It looks alright but the latch is hard to move manually.

Unlock relay harness in the works. Always fuse your ****.

Three relays are required in order to have drivers priority unlock. I'm so happy for suspendedhatch's cause for alarm install guide!

I still need to get one more actuator and two more relays. Oh man.

I got fed up with the difficulty in locking my door.

The original actuator mounting was a failure. Good thing it was just a test lol.

The new mounting position is as follows.

Passenger keyhole delete. I might do the drivers side after the power locks are finished as well!

Wire is ran for the actuators... now I need to mount the relay and run the wires to the alarm. That's the fun part after all.



You know, it's really annoying when you buy something on sale one day, and go back to buy another the day after, just to find the sale is over. I needed 6 relays total. I bought 4 the first day for 4.50 a piece, thinking I only needed 2 for power door locks and that I wasn't doing trunk pop as well. Next day I go back to buy 2 more... $8.99 each!? EFF. Oh well, they are a necessity. I'm so excited for the world of convenience!

remote locks work! Progressive locks and arm while driving.

Now that I have convenience, I'm looking into upgrading my brakes and getting energy suspension bushing kit. I've got a full rear trailing arm set and a 4040 prop valve. The trailing arms need lots of work though... I've also got a set of caliper brackets for the front to allow for 17cl13vn calipers to be used. I think that's the part number lol. It's a 23t bracket that needs to be milled.

Oh, wheel bearings. I'm gonna do them myself lol. All 4. I love employment!

I'm gonna be picking up a Z6 for cheap. I want to build it and boost it. It comes with a turbo manifold.

The only thing I want to know is, can I drive a turbo Civic year round?

I'm mostly worried about the weather. Can I do this? It gets to -40c some days with the wind. My cars have never had a problem starting, I take good care of them. Of course, I have winter tires. Would I need a different tune for summer and winter?
