I've got a 97 w/Y7 and the auto. it's not terribly slow and I/H/E will make a little difference, more in the fun factor department, not so much on dyno figures. I like my car and i have alot of plans for it, i'm not an idiot and i've been working on cars for a few years now. I would like to swap over to a GSR motor but i don't have the funds or resources right now to do it. If all your looking for is a little more fun out of your daily driver, stick with I/H/E and maybe think of a manual swap. I know of plenty of guys making crazy hp figures out of d-series motors, NA and FI, it's all about what you want the car to do.

Like i mentioned before, a GSR swap would be nice but it's not in everybodies budget. some of them may have the money but not the resources as well.
