im new to imports and have been wasting the years in american suvs. i wanna put a new exhaust on my 06 civic lx but really dont want a loud "typical" rice burner sound. im looking for something smooth and mellow if not quite like a sleeper. what applications/manufacturers should i consider. also, i am looking for cold air intake. what should i consider. thanks in advance.

Check out magnaflow, about four months ago they were calling for 06 civics. They might have something for you. It wont be the fart cannon thing at all. It will give it a nice throaty sound.

 

What rem sayin is true. i also have magnaflow and they sound nice. When warm up is kind of loud but after engine is been warm up is sound nice when idleing. Once you start move your car it gave nice growl but it loud a lit bit i dunno everyone have different tastes of what loud or not

 

didnt honda come out with a performance exhaust for there 06 line up?

 

It behaves if you make the throttle behave. I find it ver mild and it makes the car sound like there is alot of power in it.
