I'm looking at a new exhaust for my car, I want three inch piping because after I get the engine built I'm gonna be running on 15ish psi boost, and I'd like a fairly free-flowing paths for the gas...unfortunately, no one seems to make this for my car (96 coupe)... anybody know a place to get one, or do I have to get it custom made?

 

How far into the future do you plan on building and boosting? A 3" exhaust, running on an N/A app, is not going to run very strong.

 

You will most likely have to go to a local muffler shop and have them make you a custom exhaust or DIY!!!

 

i think you can get a univeral pipe kit in 3' stainless with a muffler and mandrel bends from magnaflow. you have to get it custom made though its just pipes and bends

yeah...anything that big your gonna need to get it dont custom.....i dont beleive anyone sells 3 inch exhaust.....post some pics when ya get it installed

 

i bet one of the top brands sells 'em...like TOP brands...Mugen, Spoon, Toda, JUN...the big boys. they'll prolly carry a 3" exhaust.

 

i know skunk2 makes a 3inch universal muffler which sounds really good

 

pretty sure apexi and tanabe carry a 3 inch exhaust for turbo.

 

If all the work is getting done at the same time, and you will be pushing that much boost, a 3" exhaust is more than acceptable, good luck!
