Default The 4-2-1 Header

I have a 1999 Honda Civic DX SOHC and Am looking at getting the 4-2-1 headers. My friends tells me it won't do anything for a small 1.6 engine. He says i am better off getting a turbo kit.
What would a 4-2-1 headers actually do for my 1.6L?

I'd tend to agree with your friend. D-series engines don't typically respond well to i/h/e. If you have the money, I'd definitely say boost the car.

If you throw a header on it, you're looking at something like a 3whp gain on average.

Id say Skip it lol unless you want it for the looks... and since your car is a DX you'd have to buy a high flow cat since your cat is on the header =/ Its not worth it to me....

Turbo or bust unless your going to go all out on an NA build..

^ What they said. And for future reference, you have a HEADER, not HEADERS.

LOL dont go n/a with a d series. Best they get is a little over 200hp. And you could build many turbo kits by the time you got that far LOL.
