Default AEM intake whistling

Hi guys, I'm new to posting at forums but I'll give it a shot. I had no problems with my AEM short ram intake for a couple months after installing it into my 98 civic EX. Then I started getting this whistling noise infrequently. It's not that noise of suction it makes when youaccelerate hard, it's like this old man winters whistling between his teeth whistle. it progressed worse over time and now does it all the time. I tightened up all the nuts and it went away for a little bit untill I reved it hard and it came back. I also brought it to amechanic and it didn't do it for awhile either but it's back as bad as it was. Will this just need constant adjusting all the time? I still like the intake a lot but it's the most annoying thing.
