I have a 2003 Honda Civic and was wondering if any has had a problem with the A/C. Whenever I have the A/C on, the fan kicks in and it makes a whistling sound at me, then goes away. Then it comes back again when the fan kicks in again. Just wondering if anyone has some ideas.

hummm i think it all depends on how bad the wistle is..i no when i have mine of it has a little of a wistle to it but its normal

 

It is pretty noticable, even with I have the radio on I could still hear that noise whenever the fan kicks in.

 

the belt may be loose but that would be a really disturbing whistle
