Yeah Pete 114ftlbs stock [sm=smiley17.gif]. that's 7ftlbs over the Y8 and 11ftlbs over the Z6.

ok have problem its hitting my hood big time I cant slide it down anymore or anything who else has a car like this you know where it bolts too how did you mount it mine didnt reach with the screw they gave me with it I had to use one of those stock rubber sleves that the screws go threw but I took the medal guide out i am pissed tho it pealed so much color off the top of my intake. why dont aem make them go into the silicone boot further. the air hose for the crankcase should be mounted up higher. grr what to do

You didnt install it correctly, or you bought the wrong intake. Also, whoever is telling you to 'go to a tuner shop' I advise you never take their advice again, not even on how to make lemoncicles from ice trays. Also, an intake will not make your engine run lean.

Back to the intake. There should be a piece of metal that came with the intake to bolt down so it doent wriggle everywhere. The best thing for you to do is show us a picture of your engine bay.

Yeah get us a picture we'd be able to solve your issue no problem. If it comes down to it you can cut a little off the TB end to make it fit more snuggly.

ok thanx yeah I figured the ecu would set it self they said only the v-tec engine wil do tha tkinda of ecu work. I can't get my car tuned if I wanted to I live in saint john new brunswick ther eis no where to get to tuned for like miles I mean miles prob 4 hour drive
dude man what are you talking about? aparently there is a Tunning shop in Moncton... that is only like a 1 1/2 hour drive from Saint John, but to be honest i don't know the exact location of it, or the name of it lol, so i guess i wasn't very much help

the only thing tha tcame with it to bolt down as a screw and a washer I will get a pic but tomorrow I am gonig out to th eshop and making them fix it they said no charge but I know anothe rperson who has the same car and same intake and it hits the hood too I will get some picture though.

ok I took it to the shop they fixed it for no charge they just cut the rubber boot that fits over the throttle body about half an inch shorter. they verified that this was the correct intake for my car, but still for 250 bucks it should have fit perfect.
