aem short ram for d16
hello new member here
i noticed that a lot of you guys have or had d16y7 engines before so i got a question
i bought a aem short ram intake for my 96 civic for the d16y7 engine
installation was easy and nothing went wrong. After installation i took it for a test drive and while its at around 2500 rpm a whistling sound is heard. I know that its just air going through the intake tube but this whistling sound is really loud that can be heard from a few blocks away. Also i seem to notice that i lose lowend power instead of gaining so i was wondering if these symptoms are normal or not?
