Anyone know where I can get very detailed install intructions for an AEM Short RAM Intake. Me and my dad were planning on doing it this sunday, but we dont know what everything is in the engine. All help will be appreciated.

 

the aempower.com website has the instructions, but they are the same one that would come with the intake. i'm sure you guys will be able to figure out the install with the given instructions. it's really easy to follow. my only advice is that when you do the install, make sure you have a torque wrench extension so you can get the bolts that are deeper and more difficult to get.

 

yea, AEM's directions werent too helpful for me, the pictues sucked. You just gotta work it out. its not too hard, especially because its a SRI

 

The instructions should have come with your kit. If they didn't you can go online and download them. Honestly its not hard at all, even without instructions and little knowledge you could easily figure it out.

 

Like everyone said, try AEM's website. But honestly, you can probably do it without instructions... I installed my SRI back before I even had my driver's permit (I bought my car when I was 15), and I had no real knowledge of cars at the time (I couldn't have even told you why adding just a muffler won't do anything), and I managed to do it without instructions.

 

BAh at least your intake came with instrctions, my ebay one didn't come with anything, well it came with a printout of "instructions" that basically said, take off old intake, install new one lol

It's an intake, not like it is brain surgery, if you can turn a screw driver and use a wrench then you can put an intake on
