i wanted to get an AEM SRI... but i went el cheepo and bought one off eBay.. cost me $40 including shipping... i am going to pick up the K&N filter someother time when i get the $$... or depending on how much funding i have i may still get the AEM SRI or V2... but it floods pretty bad here in the spring... so i may not get the V2

 

The V2 doesnt leave the engine bay. its more short ram than CAI but the way its designed it gets better performance than both. So you dont have to worry about flooding and you still get better performance. i personaly have one and love it.

 

Thanks Nail. It is a pretty nice peice, and I will have no use for it in the near future.

 

i have 99 civic hatch with V2 and the filter is within a few inches of the ground. not in the upper engine bay.. i have issues driving in snow/water.. where im afraid i will hydro lock but i also have to clean off snow as i am afraid this will cause issues having snow/ice stuck the the filter... so bought a daily driver this week to avoid these issues.. just my .02 sense

 

forty, what kind do you have?...how much do you want for it

 

I think the author of this thread is going to end up buying it from me. It's an AEM CAI, one of the older ones. If things fall through on that deal, I will let you let EJ8
