With intake and exhaust, the thing I did notice was a faster-moving tach at the high end of the rev range. That's where the boost in HP comes in because of the greater volume of air ingestion. So if you never shift at anything over 4000 rpm, then save your money. However, if you like to hear your exhaust wailing away every so often, a good intake like the V2 is a definite plus.
