AEM V2 intake install ??
I installed the V2 on my 98 EX, and there is a place on the intake that a hose is supposed to go on I guess. I called AEM and the guy told me to just block the hole with a seal......but it looks like crap.....any ideas on how to place the hoses up properly? I want it to look nice.

show a pic of it........you could most likely use a breather filter to cover it up.......but more importantly id use it for the real purpose.........usually there is a hose coming off of the valve cover that hooks up to the intake.....try that.

connect a hose from the nipple on the v2 to the nipple on the head. (it goes out at an angle towards the intake, maybe at a 45 degree angle.) some autozone rubber tubing will do the trick for less than 5.00 or, you could go with breather filters, one on each end, but that would look stupid

RE: AEM V2 intake install ??
I just bought an AEM V2 for my 99 EX and I am having the hardest time getting the factory air filter off. I cant seem to figure out how to unscrew the one bolt that is the closest to the front; and kind of hidden. I am debating just ripping it out old school style ;-)
If anyone has some insight to this, please let me know...

dude no offence but if u cant get the stock filter off ur prolly better off letting someone else do it.. It shouldnt take u more than 25 minutes to install an Intake........and all u need is a socket wrench and a screwdriver.......for older whips maybe some WD40 lol
