Default anti-freeze or water?

Just wondering how much of a benefit you get from racing with water instead of anti-freeze...someone please explain. Thanks

very little. anti-freeze doesnt cool quite as well as plain distilled water, but it has anti-corrosion properties that you should have. as well as the whole "not cracking your block or popping out freeze plugs" thing in the winter. if you want some extra performance, run it a little more diluted than the 50/50 it is normally used at. though if it freezes much where youre at, its not a good idea to do in the winter. also, a little "Water Wetter" will help a little too.
