Default Baby keeps scraping

The N1 exhaust i just installed which sounds and feels AMAZING! is far too low, the pipe is so big that it scrapes along the silencer pipe everytime i go over these stupid British road bumps.

At the mo its like taking them at 10 mph and on one side of the car.
Please please help, any ideas ne1, what can i do? the lifespan of the new exhuast is finished...

Where exactly is it scraping? If its scraping on the actually muffler canister itself the only way to raise it is to notch your rear bumper and shorten the hangers. If its scraping on the midpipe then the installation could be a tad crooked and therefore causing it to sit lower than normal. Take it back to the install shop and have then look at the problem and go from there. Good luck its the worst sound to hear.

Berz out.

Is your car lowered? How low is it?

You might just want to raise it a little bit. That way, it'll give you less of a headache.

Its scraping on the mid-section The car isnt lowered. I will have to have some1 take a look at the fitting. I will be posting a picture of the ingenius British road bump soon- so you can all print it off and throw darts at it!

from what im hearing from the british bumps, the are a little bit taller than american road bumps. That they may have a lot more the the US. Try taking them at an angle.

Many aftermarket exhausts i've seen on civics (including mine) hang a lot lower in the middle than stock. Depending on how much you're car is lower you could lower it less, or just say screw it and make sure you take the bumps slowly and at an angle.
