Today, I just put on my magnaflow catback and I'm coming home from some ones house around 2am, and to make a long story short cop pulls me over gives me a summons on the sound of the catback and now I have to go to court. Now I need some suggestions on what I can do to quiet it down, I seen vids of silencers and seems like they don't do much. Even if I have to resort to buying a stock exhaust, any suggestions on where to buy it?

I've had Magnaflows for 3 years now and have never been pulled over. Do you have headers? They tend to amplify the sound. You might want to ask a custom muffler shop guy what he can do to quiet the exhaust sound down. If anyone knows what works, those guys should.

 

what state do you live in. if its cali you need to be under 95 db when you drive. they have to prove your over 95 (unless someone put in a complaint). Innocent till proven guilty. not the other way around. for other states do some research and find the limit.
