cai question

i have an 01 ex and with 52k miles one it. if i put a cai on it now should i still get as manny miles out of the car with out one? if not why?

It won't shorten the life of your engine. You will be just fine if you get one!

You'll probably get more miles out of it with the CAI on since your engine will breathe easier.

It takes stress off the engine, here is my well know analogy: A car with a stock intake is like sucking through a coffee straw. A car with an aftermarket intake is like sucking into a McDonalds straw. If you dont understand what I mean, try it for yourself, youll get it.

Also, if you dont end up being pedal happy, it will increase your gas mileage.
