Carb legal cat

Default Carb legal cat

Hi guys i have a 98 ex civic i bought it off someone who has a straight pipe one it which is causing me to get check engine light cause i have no cat. So i need help finding a carb legal cat so i can change back to a legal setup without spending $400us on a new cat .... any advice will be muchly welcome. ps i already have manifold from autozone

I got a magnaflow direct bolt on for $220 on ebay. You could probably buy the Magnaflow universal weld on type for cheaper since you probably dont have the stock piping anyway? Just make sure you dont buy a cheap one on ebay and you're usually good.

Thanks for the info .... will check that out this evening after work .... yea I got to get the welding one cause none of my piping is stock.thanks again really didn't want to fork out 5bigg one just for a cat
