cat back good for long drives
what cat back would be good (96-00 Ex) if I am gonna make alot of long highway commutes? I don't want it to be loud at all during these drives... i get head aches easily... but I still wanna hear it when I'm driving around in town, ya know? Is this combo even possible? any suggestions?

RE: cat back good for long drives
the silencers actually work? i heard they don't actually make a difference... so I could take it out for driving around town, but when i drive back and forth to columbia and home, I could put in the silencer... interesting, very interesting. So.... anyone have a good silenced exhaust? where should I purchase my cat back? ebay? I want to get a good brand... nothing trash... I thought about going to nopi.com, but theres probably a better alternative.... any suggestions?

You know, I never thought it would bother me because I love the way my exhaust sounds, but I had to go about an hour out of town the other day and I had the windows rolled up. The BRRRRRRRMMMMMMMM at certain rpm's will definitely get on your nerves. It's that resonance with the windows up that'll get ya.

Heh, mine works really well. Its funny tho, for hte first 5-7 miles, it ratlles somethin' fierce.. But after that it sounds like a deep toned stock exhaust.
