Well, my catalytic converter is under threshold, so I'll need to get a new one fairly soon.

Now, when my mechanic told me I needed a new one, he said the little $90 converters wouldn't help... So, why did he say so?

 

Your mechanic is probaly trying to rob you. Just get a Maganflow converter online.

 

He's my friends sisters boy friends dad, he isn't trying to rob me. I've already basically got a new engine and labor plus all the other tiny little problems DONE under 1k, so he isn't trying to rob me.

Would he not know about these kind of converters?

 

just trust us on this one. a magnaflow hi flow cat will suffice your situation

no. exhaust systems are catbacks and that means they are from the cat back - they DO NOT include the cat.

yea just get a high flow cat con. from magnaflow or you can evein go oem doesnt matter to much but i would go wit a magnaflow
