yeah, but with the filter set up the way it is, even if you managed to get a little bit of positive pressure developed with a ram air, it would all go out the filter. it would just equalize and be like not having a ram air. it would need to be sealed all the way from the RAI opening, to the TB.

 

haha true, true. I didnt even think about it. Well, they would have tricked me.

 

also, you will never get the air pressure even up to zero no matter what you do for ram air. i fly airplanes and they have vents for cabin air that is an air scoop on the side of the fuselage right to a vent in the cockpit. even at 150 mph there isnt a lot of air coming through that vent. so with you engine making such a huge vacume you will never force enough air into the intake to make anywhere near positve pressure. im not saying ram air isnt good, cause everyone knows that the more colder air you can get into your engine the better, i am just saying you will never get a positive pressure

 

exactly. ram air is way overrated. its better, but still overrated.
