civic hx headers
no the header bolts directly to the engine... goes to a "midpipe"... to the cats, so you wont have to change anything else. The header will bolt right to the midpipe so the cat wont be touched.
And save your money and just get one header

im new, sorry for responding to a thread about 2 weeks old, but i thought id add some input, the hx header, jsut like the dx and lx (all non-vtec engines) the exhaust manifold goes right into the cat, while the ex and si engines have cat farther along the pipes, which is under the car. if the ex headers are purchased alond with a cat and exhaust, you will need to relocate the o2 sensors to where the ex's stock location
I would imagine you already have an intake on your 97 civic hf, but I have an Injen cold-air intake for a 96-98 civic that is still new in the box. I paid $100 bucks for it, but I'm willing to let it go for less. If you know anyone else with a 96-98 civic HF, that's looking for an intake, let me know.
