Default Is this correct?

I'm looking at buying a header and it comes with a resonator. So would the order out from the engine be header, resonator, cat-back exhaust? Or is there a cat. converter in there somewhere, or does the resonator take place of the cat?

What type/brand of header is it?

Usually it goes header, cat, some pipe, resonator, more pipe, muffler, tip.

yeah, that's pretty weird. i've never seen a header/resonator combo. the cat goes after the header. if you get a catback, there will be a resonator included on the piping...

the header-reasonator combo's are actually header-fake cat combo's. The resonator sits in place of the cat and makes it look like you still have a cat installed........ it's still illegal to remove the cat (if one is installed) and frankly a bad idea.

You can how ever use the header and toss the resonator or save it for later use.
