a resonator will make it less loud and more throaty.

On my eg it sounds a lot better without it. I had the stock cat-back on there but with a different muffler and it had the resonator on it. Then I got another OEM exhaust from another eg that doesnt have the resonator on it, and I love the difference. Its not louder at all, it just gives it a different tone. Its a little deeper and has a better sound overall.

I bought my Cat-back off ebay..it was a Tsudo and its not that bad. It has good sound quality and I felt the difference in hp. I also got headers of there and they are nice. SO everything off ebay isn't crappy just to let you know. Depends on the taste you have. I like the louder exhaust and throaty too.
