i'm liking the sound (no pun intended) of the WS2 now though. i found a site that has it for $430 including shipping, which i think is a good find.

i know that $350 is more than i want to spend on a custom exhaust, but wouldn't i get somewhat more HP/torque gains from a cat-back (ie. the WS2) compared to a custom exhaust?

idk Apexi like dyno tests there stuff to get the best gains they can

as for the resonator: check this

although you can prolly find a longer one. I got an 18" to fit easy, you could prolly get away with 20" (the longer hte quieter)

no you wouldn't... the piping is what matters. if they're the same size, you'll get the EXACT same performance gains (a negligible amound anyways...)

muffler affects tone.

You could always do the custom exhaust with a WS2 muffler instead of the Magnaflow. I'm gonna be getting a WS2 or twin loop muffler soon because my Magnaflow is just a little too loud imo. I got the Magnaflow full 2.25" cat-back and it fits really well, it's just a little too noisy for my tastes, I say go custom though, from what I've heard it's the best way to get pefect fitment.
