Will an intake manifold off of ANY civic d16y8 fit mine? There weren't any changes?

I'm thinking of ordering one off ebay and spending some time porting it, then swapping it in and selling mine.

But one thing for those who have had them apart: is there much of a difference between the ID of the runners and the ID of the ports in the head? Or are they really close because then I wouldn't bother trying to port the intake manifold because porting the manifold out farther than the ID of the head runners would be stupid.

 

Nobody knows or was it a dumb question? I would think they would be the same but maybe a sensor location or type as changed or something, I don't know...

 

If you get a new one would you be willing to sell your y8?

 

What I would be doing is buying a used y8 manifold that I could spend time porting, then install it and sell my stock one.

 

i'm pretty sure any d16y8 will fit, for the most part the sohc 96-00 are all copatible with each other as far as fitment goes. and you already have the sensors... so it should work
