Hi all, I've been looking for an inexpensive intake for my 01 civic ex. I just bought it 2 weeks ago so I am pretty stoaked. I know you all like pictures so here it is:




Anyways Ive been checking out this one Intake:

Its got a generic tube and hardware but comes with a K&N filter, which is important. Has anybody dealt with this ebay seller or bought this sort of intake? I think the K&N filter looks pretty legit, thats the one their normal intakes come with right? Well, tell me what you think. Feel free to recommend any other intakes please!

Hey Mike, I just bought an ebay intake and installed it yesterday. Mine didnt come with a K@N filter though. But it works excellent and sounds even better.

 

cool, just curious what kind of sound does yours make? does it whistle, or sound more agressive etc...

 

When you push the gas pedel it sounds really deep and kinda raspy I guess. Its hard to explain but I guarentee you that you will like it. The faster you go the louder it gets.

right on, sound pretty good. I think I'm gonna hit buy it now in a few mins if there arent any objections or negative things about this intake.

 

I have an eBay cold air intake and it sounds really deep and nice at high rpm. Well it did anyway, when I could hear it, now I have an eBay exhaust with a 4" tip that makes it hard to hear anything. NEVER make that mistake hahah

 

I have an ebay intake and i love it.



I had it as a cold air but like the look of the short ram. It gives me a raspy deep sound.
