ok so i'v asked alot of people and it goes ether way.
i know one guy thats into mopar and he got an ebay intake on his chalenger and he slapped a K&M sticker on it and hes fine with it. its has no problems and it runs and feels that same as a name brand"he says"
Also heard it from alot of guys with 7thgen civics.
My logic-Its just a tube how can AEM or K&N tubes be any different?
maybe a bit better metal but thats about it i believe.
what is the difference in buying a K&M intake and why not buy an ebay tube and later buy an K&M Fliter.

 

Exactly.....There's a bunch of people that buy from Ebay just to get the tube & throw the Filter away to replace it with a AEM filter. I mean a tube is a tube...I believe AEM & K&N just want you to buy their tubes at THEIR PRICE rather than at any Ebay price.

 

Yes, you are correct, a pipe is a pipe IMO. Put a better filter on and you are set.
